OUR STORY

Born in the Firehouse.

Rawhide City Leather started in 2024, on the long shifts between calls, with a piece of full-grain leather and the idea that the gear firefighters actually carry should be made by someone who's worn it.

We're a firefighter-owned shop based in Lakeland, Florida. Every piece (every helmet band, every radio strap, every belt) is hand-cut, hand-stamped, and assembled right here. No outsourcing. No mass production. No corners cut.

We use full-grain leather because it's the only part of the hide that earns the right to wear in instead of wear out. We hand-stamp every letter, every insignia, every Maltese cross. Pressed printing wears off; stamped and painted leather lasts a lifetime. We use solid hardware because cheap snaps fail at the wrong moment.

"We do not cut corners. We cut leather."

If you want gear that looks the part, feels the part, and earns the part, you're in the right place. Reach out anytime. The shop is just an email or a phone call away.
